Former Braves, Red Sox and Mets Player Came To Coach at Epstein’s Summer Adventure Camp!

Mike Twardoski, former Braves professional baseball player and now Emory University Baseball’s Head coach came to The Epstein School to coach baseball for the Epstein Summer Adventure Camp.

These kids had lots of fun but also learned important skills and techniques like diving, catching and hitting. To refine their catching skills, campers enjoyed playing catch with water balloons….and when they popped it was a welcome and refreshing “splash” of excitement!

Naturally, Mike also stressed the importance of stretching, good sportsmanship and team work if they ever want to play for the Atlanta Braves.

After a busy day, Mr. Twardoski, who obviously enjoyed his time with the children, took some time to sign autographs with lots of happy campers; he also served ice pops to all the kids!
